Geomechanics Suite
Geomechanics Modelling Software
Coming Soon - currently undergoing testing
Overview
The Geomechanics Suite takes typical (or user-defined) basin modelling parameters, combined with wellbore trajectory (planned or actual) and real data and gives a number of methods of modelling and viewing borehole stresses and rock-stability. These tools provide solid calculations with detailed reports and visualisations.
Models
Casing Cement Calculator
Comprehensive casing and liner cementing calculations with multi-section support and directional survey integration.
- Interactive Mud Weight Window: View current drilling window and adjust parameters to observe effect of angle changes at depth
- Trajectory Analysis: View the Stress parameters as Mud Weight Equivalents, safe drilling window and recommended mud weight as a graph against vertical depth
- Formation Pressure Trajectory: View the Stress parameters as Pressures, optimal pressure window as a graph against vertical depth
- Azimuthal Sensitivity: 360 degree view of wellbore stresses with current and proposed azimuths and their effects
- Polar Stability Diagram: Stability Rose-plot showing current wellbore inclination/azimuth with visual representation of mud weight window.
- Wellbore Section (4 panel view): Interactive Borehole cross section, 360 degree stress profile and plan-view/side view plots showing potential problematic areas along trajectory
- Mohr-Coulomb Circle: Failure envelope giving representation of whether the rock-strength at the borehole wall is overcome by the stress combinations through the point of interest
- PDF Reports: Professional reports with schematic diagrams from all calculations
